On what turned out to be a glorious and unusually warm October’s day, three of us went up to St Cuthbert’s where we have tidied the garden after storms brought down quite a lot of leaves, done some weeding, and planted some bulbs in one of the new raised beds. We were joined on our activities by a very friendly and curious robin looking for worms where the weeds had been removed and the soil turned over. Hopefully in the spring we will be able to start with a bright splash of colour.
In addition we have cleaned out The Old Boilerhouse Chapel and it is now open and available for anyone who wishes to make us of it.
